Shared Experiences Forum

A purpose of the Academy is to “create a collective of faculty advocates for teaching excellence who can serve as resources to their colleagues.” One means to accomplish this is through frequent forums on teaching excellence. Rather than always bringing in outside consultants, the Academy believes it should first consult its own experts, the UTSA Faculty, and have them share their experiences.

On this page are videos of the ADTS Shared Experiences Forums on a variety of teaching topics. After the panelists conclude their remarks, questions are taken from those in attendance on-site and those viewing online. Note that sometimes an audience member begins talking before a microphone is handed to them resulting in poor audio quality.

If the videos are helpful to you, please share the link with other faculty you think could benefit from the teaching tips shared. Also, consider attending the next forum. Announcements are sent via email to all faculty.

All videos are produced by the Video Production Group in the Office of Information Technology.
