Introduction

The Office of the Associate Provost for Veteran and Military Affairs (APVMA) strategically aligns all veteran and military connected entities under one department to provide oversight, easing the transition to higher education and enhancing the overall student success of The University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA) military affiliated community.

Vision

To be a national leader in providing staunch support and seamless transition for the success of the military affiliated community at UTSA.

Mission

In alignment with UTSA Strategic Themes 2, 4 and 6, the Office of Veteran and Military Affairs will serve as a center for advocacy, innovation, and collaboration to facilitate the inclusion and success of military affiliated students at UTSA.
