For six years, The University of Texas at San Antonio has proudly held its designation as an Adobe Creative Campus, demonstrating a deep commitment to integrating creativity and digital literacy across all disciplines. This long-standing dedication has recently culminated in a significant new achievement: UT San Antonio was selected by Adobe to be one of nine standout universities in the inaugural Creative Campus Innovators program. This recognition highlights the university's leadership in engaging students with Adobe's creativity, productivity, and AI tools, showcasing the university’s innovative approach to education that helps build a thriving community of creators across all majors and prepares students for success in today’s digital world.

Morgan Quinlan, a senior Communications major with a concentration in Digital Communications, has taken full advantage of these opportunities. As part of the Adobe Student Ambassador (ASA) program, which brings diverse student teams together to extend the Adobe Creative Campus ideals of design, innovation, and entrepreneurship, Morgan was selected to design the new "Stay Creative" logo for Adobe’s International Student Ambassador Program. The program connects industry with what Adobe can do to help facilitate academic, professional, and creative growth.

"I was absolutely thrilled — but also terrified — when I found out," Morgan said. "Working with Adobe has been a dream of mine since I was 13, so I was determined to knock their socks off with my designs."

Her winning design draws on 1990s and early 2000s nostalgia, inspired by roller rinks and youth culture. She sketched her concepts by hand before finishing them in Illustrator. Beyond the project itself, Morgan says the Ambassador program helped her grow: "One of the areas where I’ve grown the most is collaboration. Graphic designers can be reclusive, but ASA pushed me to network, share my work, and connect with my peers. I wouldn’t have known about opportunities like the Adobe Student Summit without ASA."

Her advice to other Roadrunners?

"Take every opportunity you can. Network, meet other designers, and don’t be afraid to show off your unique style."

A Bright Future for Adobe Ambassadors

Haley Craig, the campus Adobe Education Leader, who supports the Adobe Student Ambassador program at UT San Antonio, says Morgan’s achievement reflects both her talent and the program’s impact.

"The Ambassador program gives students hands-on experience, real-world applications, and the confidence to showcase their creativity."

Hailey Craig, Campus Adobe Education Leader

Looking ahead, Haley says the program will only grow stronger: "We’re working to expand with more workshops, networking opportunities, collaborations with local businesses, and guest speakers from the industry. Our goal is to continue fostering creativity, leadership, and innovation among UT San Antonio students."
