Teaching Showcase
UTSA's Teaching Showcase takes place annually during Celebrate Teaching Week. It is co-sponsored by the Academy of Distinguished Teaching Scholars and the division of Academic Innovation.
About the Showcase
The purpose of this event is to give faculty an opportunity to showcase how they have successfully incorporated active learning into their pedagogy. Faculty presenters will choose to highlight a lesson plan for one of the following course modalities with a poster presentation:
Thursday, February 22, 2024
Noon-1:30 p.m.
Refreshments Provided
Denman Ballroom
All Faculty are Invited to Attend
Presentation Style
The showcase will be conducted as an open-house style format so that attendees can freely peruse the various poster presentations and engage in dialogue with the faculty presenters.
By listening to the techniques used by colleagues, we can sharpen and add to our own teaching tool set. This will ultimately benefit our students as we provide them with innovative class experiences.
