Who We Are
“A Center for the students by the students”
The mission of the Najim Center for Innovation and Career Advancement is to create experiential learning opportunities for all UTSA students to gain direct experience with issues and challenges affecting their community and provide students with transportable skills through high impact programming and projects.
What We Believe
We are setting the standard in experiential learning by engaging and connecting our students to innovative programing and project management that drives discovery and equips them with knowledge, skills, and the confidence necessary to ignite change in the world.
Who We Serve
At the Najim Center, we celebrate students of all identities as we create an environment for individuals to feel confident in their journey to career exploration. We promote open and honest innovative spaces for ALL students at UTSA and partner with faculty, staff, and industry partners who embrace inclusiveness.
- Students will learn how to use design thinking to solve real world issues
- Students will work in diverse cohorts to encourage cross collaboration within interdisciplinary majors.
- Students will develop transportable skills to help leverage experiential learning opportunities that hone their career readiness
Become a Najim Strategist
Najim Strategist will have the opportunity to work on real world issues that, both domestic and global organizations are facing. Help startups, corporations and nonprofits identify innovative ways to solve their issues by way of project management.
By choosing to be a Najim Strategist you will gain hands on experience and know how to collaborate in a team setting with students, faculty, staff, and local businesses across all types of industries with students from all disciplines.
