NEWS
UTSA is helping pre-health students prepare for successful medical careers through its mock interview program, an annual weekend where students connect with health care professionals to sharpen their skills in order to stand out in highly competitive medical fields.
Researchers with the UTSA School of Data Science and the UTSA College of Sciences have been awarded a three-year, $474,000 grant from the National Institutes of Health (NIH) to create and refine customizable cloud-based instructional materials for undergraduate and graduate students studying biomedical data science and computational genomics and data science.
UTSA Honors College student Elias Flores believes in making a meaningful impact across the university’s campuses and the San Antonio community. As a sophomore majoring in management and information systems at the Carlos Alvarez College of Business, Flores balances his academic responsibilities with hands-on experience as a work-study student.

The UTSA Citymester program is a San Antonio-based summer program that offers students career-development and leadership skills through an internship and service-learning project with a local nonprofit or business, and a series of networking seminars that take place across the city.
