As active researchers, scholars and creative artists, your work not only contributes to making discoveries and creations that matter, but also impacts our students along their educational journey and in their lives. As a faculty scholar, there are important milestones in your career that should be celebrated.
We are excited to introduce a faculty recognition program for all faculty at UTSA (tenure-track, tenured and fixed-term-track) which includes receiving a custom-designed lapel pin upon reaching certain milestones.
Silver Lapel Pin
A silver pin signifies the achievement of associate professor with tenure, associate professor of instruction, or associate professor of practice.
Gold Lapel Pin
A gold pin signifies the achievement of full professor, professor of instruction, or professor of practice.
Show your Roadrunner Nation Faculty pride!
Our hope is that you wear your pin at meetings, conferences, in your classes and other situations and places. We encourage you to share pictures of yourself wearing your pin(s) on your social media channels using the hashtag #UTSAFaculty to demonstrate your pride as a member of the UTSA Roadrunner Nation Faculty.
Our plan is to continue to look for ways to share the wonderful accomplishments of our faculty throughout their career span.
