More of our undergraduates are earning their degrees than ever before. Over the last decade, we've seen a 49% increase in the number of UTSA bachelor's degrees awarded.
At the same time, our students are completing their degrees at a faster pace: average time to degree is now 4.5 years, compared to 5.4 years from a decade ago. Why is reducing time to degree so important? Students who complete their degrees in fewer semesters save money — in reduced tuition expenses or less borrowing through loans — and can enter the workforce earlier in their career.
