UTSA has awarded, on average, 120+ doctorates annually over the last decade and currently has nearly 1,000 students enrolled in 25 Ph.D. programs. Here’s a snapshot of UTSA doctoral students and graduates — who they are, where they are now, and how they’re shaping the future of our community and world.

Doctoral student success is the marker of a great research university. As a pre-eminent Hispanic-Serving Institution, UTSA’s faculty, programs, and innovative research play a transformative role in accelerating Latino student success in their graduate and post-doctoral endeavors. Ultimately, our work diversifies higher education and helps the nation’s workforce more closely represent the demographic future of the United States.
