The School of Data Science, opening on January 9 at San Pedro I, is the first institution of its kind in Texas. The influx of students and world-class data science faculty and professionals to downtown San Antonio will contribute to the activation of the city’s urban core, the creation of a prominent market for data science education and research, and the diversification of the field.
