Civic and service learning benefits students, faculty and community

As part of the Classroom to Career initiative, UTSA infuses service learning activities in a number of ways across our curricula – through courses, special projects or internships, and in the Rowdy Corps Community Scholars work-study program. Civic and service learning provides UTSA students with an opportunity to develop marketable skills, become more socially connected, enhance critical thinking, and gain course credit while building a stronger San Antonio.
