US News and World Report lists UTSA among best graduate programs

Several UTSA master’s degree programs have been ranked among the nation’s best in the 2024 U.S. News & World Report Best Graduate Programs list.

  • Public Administration – No. 135 of 271: UTSA’s College for Health, Community, and Policy (HCAP) Master of Public Administration combines rigorous academics with hands-on experience, preparing leaders for careers in public and nonprofit sectors. 
  • Social Work – No. 77 of 319: Also in HCAP, UTSA Master of Social Work ranks first among social work programs in San Antonio, recognized for its commitment to addressing educational disparities and empowering graduates to create positive community impacts. 
  • Education – No. 122 of 453: The UTSA College of Education and Human Development is celebrated for developing skilled educators and health professionals who are prepared to meet both local and global needs. 
  • M.B.A. – No. 176 of 269: The UTSA Alvarez College of Business offers a flexible Master of Business Administration that is tailored for working professionals, emphasizing practical application through projects and case studies to bridge academic learning with real-world skills. 
  • Computer Science – No. 120 of 210: The UTSA College of Sciences’ M.S. in computer science offers specializations in cybersecurity, software engineering and data science.
