Dean candidate for the UTSA Graduate School to speak at campus forum
UTSA faculty, staff and students are invited to attend an open forum for an on-campus candidate for the position of vice provost for graduate and postdoctoral studies and dean of the UTSA Graduate School. The forum will feature the on-campus candidate giving an overview of their qualifications and discussing their vision, followed by a Q&A session.
Reporting to the provost and executive vice president for academic affairs, the vice provost and dean will lead the Graduate School with a comprehensive, ambitious and dynamic vision that enhances its mission and impact. As a senior academic leader, this individual will provide strategic direction to elevate graduate education, support interdisciplinary program development and champion the intellectual and professional growth of students and postdoctoral scholars. The role also involves guiding policy and program development, managing the school’s human and financial resources, and advancing efforts in graduate recruitment, enrollment and student success.
The forum will be held in person and via Zoom. Candidate information will be available online 24 hours prior to the campus forum. UTSA authentication is required to view candidate information.
